03 Jan Keeneland January Sales Updates
To Keeneland Consignors and Buyers:
Please note that the Kentucky Department of Agriculture has waived the requirement for equine piroplasmosis testing for horses entered in Keeneland’s 2011 January Horses of All Ages Sale.
You may ship horses for the January Sale to Keeneland without the equine piroplasmosis test.
However, if you or a client purchases a “racing prospect” or a “horse-of-racing-age” and plan to immediately ship to any Kentucky race track after the sale, you will be required to have a negative equine piroplasmosis test before you can enter that track.
Keeneland’s 2011 January Horses of All Ages Sale Begins Monday, January 10 and continues through Friday, January 14. Sessions begin at 10 a.m. each day and will be streamed live a Keeneland.com.
